7 small paintings donated over last years to TwitterArtExhibit7 Small Post Card Paintings Donated Over Last 7 Years to TwitterArtExhibit
My Microscope Painting "Hydrodictyon" donated to Twitter Art Exhibition 2021 Cheltenham

For the last seven years I have enjoyed being involved with TwitterArtExhibit, and each year it has grown in artist numbers. Each year it is hosted by a different organisation in aid of a different charity and in a different place around the world. I donate a small original piece of art which is exhibited along with hundreds of other artist. All the art is sold for a standard price with the proceeds going to the selected charity.

This year, the exhibition was held at the Cheltenham Race Grounds, Chelternham UK in aid of the The Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund – LINC, with each sale of art at £30.  I would have loved to attend the grand opening in Cheltenham as it is not too far from where I live, but I was recovering from surgery and couldn't go. But I'm glad that now, the TwitterArtExhibition has all the original art on their website to be able to purchase online after the real life exhibition has finished.

In previous years that I have been involved in TwitterArtExhibit, the exhibitions included cities in Norway, USA, and Australia. David Sandum based in Norway is the artist who founded the idea into being and as it has grown it is organised by a few dedicated hard working artists that make it a success year on year.

I love the concept.  I love the camaraderie of fellow artists in helping to promote both the exhibitions and the causes, not to mention the art, and for as long as I am able, I will always take part. I am also delighted that once again, my art donation this year was sold.
